Is Krug and another forward going back the other way instead of the 1st? Blues have a pretty filled out top 9 now. Not sure where Frederic fits in anymore. Grzelcyk wouldn't be bad, but i'm not paying a 1st for him and it only works if Krug is going back the other way. Scandella could work there, but i'm not sure we want 2 5'9 Left defenseman.

Right now the trade market is favoring anyone with the cap space to facilitate a deal like this. I doubt it would cost 28 and 74. And besides, with Hayes the Blues have a full top 9 and couldn't really pay Frederic his contract value to be a 4th liner. And I would like Grz but there is a full house at LD too. So some major movement would have to go down to make this happen for STL, and the price would have to come down pretty far.
