This deal would make sense for the Sabres
We could trade some offense, (which we have plenty of),
for a good 2way player who could help our middle6

As a Sabres fan, I’d be cool with this trade

31 OA in stacked draft is perfect for rebuilding team. Aren't Jets setting up for rebuild ?

No, in this case it's pretty much a 2nd. If all firsts are just firsts then make it Buffalo's 23 1st and it's a deal.

It’s not like he was THE key piece to the deal
The Jets are rebuilding and will value younger assets for sure
