Not enough to move Pesce. For this price - canes just keep him and figure it out later.

Should mention since they took away the 2023 picks that is 2 2nds with one possibly becoming a 1st. Not sure if that's clear

Thanks for clarifying, but the futures you’re offering aren’t enough to entice the Canes. They need something that can help now, and the players Buffalo would add aren’t difference makers.

I don’t know two 2nds is enough to packages up for a difference maker elsewhere either.

The smaller the return, especially in terms of something that helps them now, the more reason they have to just hang onto Pesce for another year and take their chances.

The Canes need something that can help them now for Pesce, but I think fans might be overestimating how much you can get for a player on an expiring contract. The rumor is that they were shopping him yesterday, so it clearly seems like they aren't super close on an extension.

Chychrun got a first and two seconds with two years left on his deal. I think something around Krebs or Mittelstadt + 39 or a 2024 first makes a lot of sense value wise.

If strbak is off the board at 39, I would absolutely do mittelstadt and 39/next years first. L
