Trading Brodie is a mistake. This defence has one legit top pair guy and 5 bottom pair defenders.

I agree we need a little bite but 20 man rosters don’t fly. I think bertuzzi is a pipe dream, + 6x$6M is overpay.
I like zadorov on button pair if they can swing a deal but that cap hit is difficult. Maybe just sign lucic or reaves as 13th forward and add a physical dman via FA?

There is $3M in cap space. I just forgot to put people as scratches

For what Bertuzzi brings, he's relentless and a playoff performer. I would pay whatever he wants

I don't want to trade Brodie but Tre said he wants to make significant changes to the defense and I don't know how they will do that with Brodie eating $5M

Playoff performer? Played 7 games in his whole career, put up points admittedly, but also part of biggest choke job in recent memory.

It's going to be tough to do but this blue line you have is going to get destroyed. Two puck movers and 4 guys that aren't very good with the puck.

Bertuzzi isn't a play driver though and basing value over small sample sizes is terrible. Bertuzzi is going to be the next Clarkson.

When Bertuzzi signs with one of BOS, Tampa, or FLA (Florida being very interested) and beats us in R1, we're going to wish we have signed Bertuzzi. You win with the Bertuzzis, Dubas thinks you can win with the Denis Malgins, Pierre Engvalls, and Alex Kerfeets. I'm giving him whatever he asks for, he's a difference maker and was one of the few Bruins that showed up

Regardless we aren't trading Brodie for only a 3rd. That's ridiculous lol

Or he gets hurt, misses 75% of the season and comes back as a shell of his former self. I don't think he's going to pan out.

I'm good if he misses for the season. Come back for the playoffs is all I care about

Regular season doesn't matter

Oh it does if you pay him this much for the regular season.
