Anyone is available for the right price. lol. I strongly believe that Mercer isn't available but with the Toffoli trade and Bratt signing those are 2 really solid RW's. So Mercer might find his way out. I highly doubt it but I wanted to see if this package from the Jets would make sense for NJD.

The WPG / FLYERS deal is not good for the Jets. It's not horrible, but not great. I like Cart and Sanheim, but that's a LOT to give up to be stuck with Sanheim for many years.

Doubt Mercer comes but that Canes trade is terrible. I wouldnt trade Connor for just that

If theyre a roster main stay or nemec/Luke theyre off the table for pretty much anyone especially a 30 year old goalie

The pieces going back to Philly are all pieces that are is going to help Philly and help the Jets get out of bad contracts. Also Chisholm is going to be like alot of WPG prospects where they didn't get enough playing time to see what they really were in the NHL lineup and they are casualties of poor prospect management. Management not wanting to have another Kovacevic or Mikey Essyimont situation happen where you lose them for nothing. Barron the same. I love the guy as a player but with Iafallo coming back in the LAK deal might spell the end of Barron. which is too bad.



WPG needs help on the right side defence!! Pesce would be so great with Morrissey or even Sanheim (if WPG happens to trade for him). Either way Pesce is a big need for WPG.

I hope Hellebuyck is traded anywhere else just so these trades end.

No WPG fan can point to any goaltending trade anywhere near the value they are asking for from an expiring 30yr old goalie.

Pesce has one year left. Get him signed for 8 years at a decent rate, sure....but until then, this is not happening. Connor is a 90 point scorer with several years left on a great contract

I dont think Toffoli on a one year deal will force the Devils to trade Mercer out. Also If they traded McLeod then there would be a center spot open for Mercer. I think if Helle goes to the Devils it'll be Holtz, VV, and a first round pick.
