I’d view Carrier as that top 4 D man piece, could also be Fabbro. After that is where I get lost. There needs to be significant pieces added to either, but don’t know what you guys would want

Fabbro or Carrier are nice pieces but clear downgrades from Pesce. Don’t think the dman replacement is there in this deal so need to look at top 6. Forsberg is of interest but that wouldn’t happen. Outside of that I don’t think there’s much there. Maybe a big package with Forsberg Fabbro and pesce ++ but again doesn’t seem like a fit for either side.

Also that rumor is very likely bs as it came from Pagnotta with a lot of hedging and vagueness attached.

I don’t see Nashville swinging it here. Really sounds like we don’t have the pieces to make it work. I feel like Dallas is a potential fit though. Maybe something with Miller + a forward and a pick?

Yeah I thought Dallas earlier this month but I’m not sure how much sense it makes sense. Miller is a decent backfill starting point but idk what else they’re willing to give that would be interesting. Plus not having their 23 first would hurt that conversation.

I still think canes extend him and all of the trade talk is moot but we’ll see.
