Not even close for Calgary, if an extension is in place the price will most likely be a 1st and two 2nds.

That's going to be a no from Seattle, I'm afraid. I can't imagine trading away their second-pairing RHD is very appealing for a team looking to compete and add to their defense, not subtract from it. Plus, center is about the only position where Seattle has any prospect depth, so I don't think they'd have too much interest in Poulin.

I think you forgot to include 3 1sts and sid crosby in that Calgary trade.
I mean Hanafin almost broke 40 points last year and wants out of Calgary, therefore he will obviously cost an arm and a leg to trade for.....

You think hanafin is going to cost more than jakob chychrun?? lol what are you smoking.
Maybe if calgary extends him then retains half for the duration of the extension lmao

His value dropped when he spent half a season injured and then was held out of the line up for how many games for them to make a deal because Arizona couldn’t pull the trigger. The flames are not about to take an AHL lifer living in the shadows of his older brother and an overpaid bottom pairing defensemen give your head a shake kid.

Tell me you don’t watch hockey without telling me you don’t watch hockey 😂
If petterson is an overpaid bottom pair defenseman then Lindholm is an overpaid third line center . Y’all are too damn funny

Take what you can get. The guy already said he wants out. Then again, so has most of the team. We'd be happy to keep everything and just sign him next summer

Wow tell me your an ignorant American without telling me your Ignorant American. You’ve stated he won’t get more than chychrun which a 1st and two 2nds was the trade. Initial asking price was a 1st a 2nd rounder or prospect equivalent and a top prospect. Arizona twiddled their thumbs and teams mainly Edmonton and LA went in other directions forcing them to take a lesser option. his trade is almost certain to come with an extension which takes him through his prime defensive years, but I don’t know why I’m arguing with you, fairly well documented the pens have no current prospects and an aging core so the flames will probably end up trading him to another team anyways halo

lol at least players like to play in our country instead of running away as fast as possible. Isn't most of your country actively on fire right now ?? How long has it been since any Canadian team has won a cup?
