Garland and MacKinnon are never going to be on the same team as long as MacKinnon has a say, and that’s awful value for Girard on top of it.

Why? Also, Garland is a good top-6 forward with speed, so why would Mackinnon not want to play with him? On top of that, Girard is only suitable for offense.

MacKinnon hates Garland and it dates back to juniors. Girard is not only suitable for offence.

It goes back to Shattuck (it isn’t a coincidence MacK fired his helmet back at him )and don’t confuse size for not playing defense. Van wants to dump Garland and his contract and he isn’t a good top 6 forward.
