I think the next best team rumored to be on his list was Dallas. Unlike other teams, as well, the Canes can offer the win-now pieces that Ottawa is requesting.

That's a no for the blues. Skejei doesn't fit the blues age range. We are also not trying to compete this year and our GM has said this is the first year in a multi year process of becoming a stanley cup contender. Paying Skejei who will be 30 after this year on a long term contract is a terrible idea for the blues
