If I was the Kings, I'd probably look for some breathing room by moving Lizotte and or Grundstöm.
Definitely a decent chance of this being close too if not the Opening Day Roster

Agreed, this lineup doesn't include Kaliyev (sent down to the AHL and doesn't need to clear waviers) who is at a pivotal point in his career and could break out if on a line with PLD. This also assumes ****emo isn't claimed off waivers which might be unlikely as well.

Lizotte was proven as a 3C on a 100 point Kings team so I think he is more safe than Grundstrom. However Grundstrom's size and physicallity is also important for the bottom-6.

The likelihood is if the Kings make a move it will be around training camp. They need to see who has chemistry with the new acquisitions and lean into this.

I completely forgot about Kaliev, he's definitely making the roster.
A trade during camp would make sense, I'm sure a few teams are waiting to see what their young guys can do before potentially signing or trading for more experienced 3rd\4th liners.

There's no way they start Kaliyev in the AHL. If he's the odd-man out, they'll trade him. Trevor Lewis will be waived before Kaliyev gets sent down.

Curious to see which of ****emo, Madden, and Thomas would clear waivers.

Yeah, just illustrating how the team can keep all their major assets without using LTIR or a trade. Grundstrom has been my bet for what it's worth.

I think Lewis, JAD, and Lizotte are going to click as a shutdown checking line. They are going to be a frustrating 4th line who can each move up the lineup if asked.

The one I can't get figured out is the PLD line, but we'll see after camp starts. I can't shake this feeling we aren't done, I bet there is a PTO coming too like Nate Thompson last year.

Madden and Thomas will likely clear (more sure on Thomas, than Madden). ****emo is who I am worried about.

I'm suspecting a line of Fiala-Dubois-Arvidsson with Kaliyev taking Arvidsson's spot on Danault's line.

4th line would be JAD-Lizotte-Grundstrom.

Fiala and Arvidsson would be a terror on the same line, but I like the idea of splitting up our potential 25-30 goal scorers on each of our 3 lines. I could see it though.

Ideally, that's my 4th line as well, but the Lewis signing makes me feel we are entertaining moving one of Lizotte or Grundstrom as he can play the center position with more size, defense, and can put up similar hits. To have Grundstrom on the 3rd and Lewis on the 4th provides stronger physicallity, but I think we don't have the room.

Looking at Englund's stats he's better at shutting down than Bjornfot was last season and he brings the physical element. I want Bjornfot to get the role, but he definitely needs to earn it. Hopefully he can leverage his experience with Spence to get the nod.
