I am a Hawks fan and I would 100% take this first of all we have almost 20 mill available that doesn't matter if we use it or not second of all what if the kids we have playing goalie aren't ready we need someone to play net this season plus 2 picks isn't a bad thing

Mrazak is hardly a kid. And if Soderblom and Stauber are bad, who cares? The Hawks aren't competing for a playoff spot this season anyway. Murray has a $4.6m cap hit and is owed $6m in actual salary. Two 3rd round picks is not sufficient compensation to take on that sort of financial commitment. Look at the recent trades the Hawks did with Vancouver and Ottawa. They got 2nd round picks for taking players who made less.

In my mind it was more of a stop gap for the kids to stay in the ahl and develop properly instead of rushing them
