I don't see the Jets retaining and moving those guys for a quantity offer.

Helly and Scheiffle have made it clear they want out. They’re both not gonna renew, you’ll end up losing them for nothing. This way you get draft capital, a goalie for the future and depth help. Both teams win here.

Scheifele hasn't said anything that I've heard. But trading him for a low end pile of nothing doesn't really help the Jets.

Swayman is okay, but as a goalie doesn't have much value and the only piece Winnipeg would want is too far in the future to have much value. Grzelcyk isn't needed or wanted and the rest is replacement level junk. You're not get a 40G 1C for a pile of nothing.
