Toews for Nylander straight across - you aren't getting Lehkonen, too; the Avs need him too much.

Why does every leafs fan think CGY wants a 33 year old Brodie

Yeah I agree, my logic here is:

Toews = Nylander

Lekhonen = McCabe

Maybe more draft capital needs to be sent the Avs way but I think it's a relatively fair deal.

I mean you could say the same about Tanev, realistically I think Brodie and Tanev have about the same value. There are both pros and cons to their situations, if the plan in Calgary is to retool flipping Brodie would something you look to do by the deadline.

That NJD 2nd rounder could be a 1st. What an awful trade for SJS.

Just buy him out.

Towes >>>>> Nylander
One of the best defensemen in the game is worth wayyyy more than a one dimensional winger.
And Lekhonen is too valuable for the Avs, I wouldn’t trade him one for one for Nylander because he fits their system so well
TJTwolf and M96N29 liked this.

Why would they trade Tanev for Brodie to then flip Brodie? They can just trade Tanev for picks lol

What I'm saying is: the Avs aren't trading Lehky
