I'd love to have him as a project, but he's yet to prove he can be top 6. He fits well into a now crowded bottom 6, so he may make trading Freddy easier, but I don't know his motivation to come here. We can't pay him what he was making in Detroit, and another team may like him enough to bring him in. The only draw I guess is playing with his fellow Czechs, Pasta in particular.

Also Poitras is not making the lineup out of camp. He needs at least a full year in the AHL. My money is on Beecher.

If it's Zadina vs Frederic, I'm taking Frederic everytime despite the difference in caphit. Pass on Zadina for me.

Edit: Oh man putting Poitras as the 4C is not good for his development, sure give him 9 games in the middle6, but he needs another year in the OHL. No point rushing him, especially if Bergeron returns.

They are not moving Frederic for pieces that will never be what Frederic is now when there is no need to.
