Bellemare's faceoff ability will be useful on a team that struggles in that department. He's probably here as center depth after the departure of Geekie, and to provide cover in case Wright needs more development time. If Wright is ready, the Kraken can scratch or waive Bellemare without issue.

I know he was a late bloomer to the NHL but I’m surprised to see him back in professional hockey. Dude turns 39 this season and has never been more than a 4th liner.

That said, such a good dude. All the best to him. Kraken continue to build those good vibes.

Perfect guy to add to the Kraken locker room and will still contribute to the team even if he is a healthy scratch half the time.

They will before the season starts. Vince Dunn is a 26 year old RFA and eligible for arbitration.
