Yeah but that doesn’t mean MTL has space, as in number of contracts that can be taken on. They already have over the 23 man roster at this point. If VAN wants to dump cap space they would also need to be paid and not paying even if it’s just a 6th rounder. Canucks would need to pay with something like a 2nd or 3rd. ARZ got very innovative with cap dumps coming their way, and it hasn’t gone unnoticed by teams.
