its a close deal but Flyers dont have to move TK, i think he is pretty ok with staying a Flyer.

Konency costs a noteworthy amount more. Package should be the same value as Cat, if not more because of the contract already being done and Trav coming off a better year.

Briere isn't believed to be shopping TK atm, so unless you blow him away this trade isn't happening. Retaining 500k is also not happening, since its such a measly amount to spend a retention slot for.

I disagree that its better because Brannstrom isn't a fit on the Flyers. He would quickly find himself out of Tortz system. Joseph is valueless if not negative for what the flyers are doing as well.

Flipping the first and throwing in two unused bodies will not be a good move, and is absolutely a downgrade on the package. Trading a guy coming off a down year vs a guy coming off on a good year will also have impacts on the value. As well as Cat having a say to where he goes as opposed to Konencny's contract being much more movable now.

This package will need to be higher. I repeat that it needs a noteworthy upgrade in value.
