Description
Saw this on ClutchLines as a C idea, wanted others' thoughts. He's cheap, and did score 30+ goals a year ago, largely a product of a very talented winger in Kaprizov. We have a very talented winger too.

Threw a couple ideas for a package.

    I’d love to work out a Hartman for Carlo deal, but I would definitely need that pick to be top 10 protected…and I would much prefer to figure out a package involving Addison and Hartman…

    B’s are not trading Carlo for Hartman.. would be dumb.

    Hartman went from 9.5 career shooting % to 14.5 in that 34 goal year. It was an anomaly. Expect closer to last year. He’s low end 2 high end 3 center. He’s basically Charlie Coyle just cheaper.

    Basically an impossible trade given their cap situation, without making 2 or 3 other trades to clear additional cap. At that point, you've successfully ruined your team's depth and given up a 1st round pick in the process. Easy pass.

    Definitely something there. I wouldn't really want to sign Dumba in FA, so that would be an ideal situation. Frederic and Carlo for Addison, Hartman, protected 1st?

    I worked on this myself to figure out how it could work…and it’s very tough!
