after considering contracts, batherson is the more valuable player than nylander. i wouldnt do it one for one if im ottawa

I mean it makes a lot of sense for Toronto. They get a top 6 guy on a steal of a contract for term. Makes no sense for Ottawa though unless they got Nylander signed long term on a team friendly contract… in which case Toronto wouldn’t be moving him.

Sens can't afford Nylander short or long term
