Even with bringing in Karlsson - still have no faith in this team on paper to win anything. Going to have major bottom 6 issues again imo. Can't help but think Dubas could have handled this offseason better.

I think the Canes do have a better offering of young players and prospects. Could throw in a roster player if SJ wants but they are not in as difficult a position as Pittsburgh. Seems like every trade scenario has them including something they need to offload. Carolina can move what they need without having to throw it into this trade. The Pesce move has to happen first, obviously. I think this is what is holding up the TonyD trade. Everything else has to happen first. I think Skjei gets moved, too.

I know lol - of course I'm giving it a chance. And I want to be wrong. But there's nothing wrong with being realistic and giving your thoughts about how the team looks.
