Why not just sign someone like Suter for 3C instead of moving Pesce?

NSH would decline this. NSH already has 4 RD's on the roster and another ready for NHL time on a 2-way deal. If NSH is to acquire a RD it will in exchange for one we have, not a forward and especially not a young forward who is at center. NSH is really struggling at C so they can't really afford to trade something they don't have much of for something they already have an overabundance of

I mean, I may accept that deal since it’s only 6 million dollars to be retained but I don’t understand why you want to add Karlsson to a d core with Burns again — didn’t we figure out they’re both good players but better off without eachother
