Heiskanen moves to the left and every right d moves up
We run a cheap 3 goalie tandem buffalo gets their starter for the future we have a low cap hit goalie tandem for the next two years till tavares' contract is off the books. We can afford to sign Nylander and Matthews and still put out a good team depending if these goalies can handle it
We get picks to replenish our farm system

DeSmith for Lafferty is fine, but you can keep Timmins. Pens have no need for another RHD.

Don’t think that’s a move the Sabres make BEFORE the season starts, which likely means the Leafs would move him elsewhere instead of paying him

I could see the Sabres make a move like this during the season though, *IF* the young tandem of Levi/UPL struggles

Love the Harley trade (for the Leafs). Its close to fair value, but I still think the Stars say no based on his play in the playoffs last year.

But the defense is still to small and soft. No way they can contend in the playoffs without some more size, snarl and some players to defend the front of the net.
