Why would Vancouver give up the 2 best players in the trade while simultaneously make their cap situation even worse?

Yep. I could see them maybe having interest in Dvorak, but this deal wouldn’t cut it.

I don’t get why we’d want Dvorak behind the fact that he plays center. Abysmal defensive metrics and has never even hit 40 points in a season

There could be something with a Dvorak for Boeser swap but Vancouver won't want to add more term on the wings with Anderson
