Mercer isn't going anywhere. Just watching him in the NHL since he arrived, you can tell, you win with players like him. He reminds me of Hischier ( maybe won't hit that ceiling ) but if he's not scoring, he's doing all the little things right. Coaches love him, teammates love him and fans love him. He's not going anywhere!

Just take the goalie and the picks, add some picks over next couple years and drop mercer. Flip some picks to go find a Center or top 6 winger.

I wouldn't since Shesty is about to be UFA. I'd consider it for Sorokin or Wallstedt.
