Leafs pass. Leafs need to upgrade the size and add physicality to their D. Brodie is their 2nd best dman. They shouldn't be trading him, unless they get an upgrade over him (that would be very expensive).

Trading a top pair D for a third line RW doesn’t make any sense. Even if they trade Nylander he’s barely in the top 6. Matthews, Marner, Tavares, Bert, Domi, and Knies would most likely be the top 6

When you add renown hockey terrorist John "I'm allergic to defense as a defenseman" Klingberg to your lineup I think you want your d-core to have all the help it can get

Doesn't make sense for Toronto other a very minor cap saving and you hoping for a *possible* Nylander trade to justify the move
