Probably not. Almost none play their offhand well.

Actually he plays it quite well, is often on the right side. Scored 70+pts this year probably spending around half his time on his offside.

That's not the question that you should ask because, of course, he can play on his weak side. Sames goes with Makar, Hedman, Fox, Karlsson, etc.

The real question is why in hell play him on his weak side when you could really unleashed him playing on his strong side? Why do you limit the performance of your Franchise D to accomodate a washed up Vet?

Why try to lift the floor instead of reaching for the ceiling? You know, just like the vast majority (if not all) of the other teams do with their best D.

Some players don’t care which side they play on because it doesn’t affect their game. I haven’t seen a stat showing improvement of players from left to right. Interesting to check though.

Those stats exists. I have seen many. Now, I am too lazy to dig them out for you. Miro had his best offensive season (5 on 5) in his first year (he played with Polak) and last year when he mostly played on his strong side.

Hell, even DeBoer and Nill publicly aknowledge that their D should play on their strong side on a fully healthy roster. And, as I said in my post, try to find #1 D anywhere else in the league that plays on is weak side regularly. You will not find any. Nill & Co knows that, but they still have their head in the sand trying to sell that "Miro Stuff".

Can you imagine Miro, playing 30 minutes a game in the PO, on his strong side?

What I cannot understand is that the inital plan was to pair Miro with Johns. That would have been awsome. But life decided otherwise. Johns played his last game in 2020. I think Nill had enough time to find an alternate plan.
