How Untouchable is Andersson

Created by: BigSportsGuy
Team: 2023-24 Edmonton Oilers
Initial Creation Date: Jul. 20, 2023
Published: Jul. 20, 2023
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Just looking at “dream rd targets” and Rasmus Andersson keeps popping up quite high on the list of stats I’m looking at.

Obviously he’s part of the flames core, and they’d be even less likely to move him to their rival, but what would it take for flames to consider moving him?

Broberg, Bourgault/ Holloway, 2024 1st, 2025 1st. I would expect that to be the minimum for Edmonton.

Given the cap squeeze EDM would be smarter to try and lock up Bouchard long term if they could move Ceci.

To Edmonton I would think 99%. Unless the Oilers propose a trade that makes Conroy look like Sam Pollock I don't think there's a chance Andersson moves in province.

I think it depends on where you're trying to Touch him , wouldnt you say?
Although i dont see them trading a D they need after losing Valamaki on waivers to their rival no less.

They aren't moving Ceci unless they get a better player to replace him. A better player is going to cost more, so there won't be any additional cap space for Bouchard.

Is Arizona anyone's rival? Valimaki stunk at camp so he went on waivers, no brainer

Fair enough. I just think with the point totals Bouchard will likely be racking up on PP1 this might be the time to try and sign him long term.

They should, but they can't. And Holland is trying to ice the best possible team this season, he wouldn't trade a useful player with no replacement to sign Bouchard with term because he's not concerned with anything beyond 23-24. He's in Win Now mode, not planning for the future.

I love how people read context and think its an argument . . . .
At least you finished the sentence accurately as you just stated the obvious
How the **** else was someone suppose to lose a player to another team without trading them . . SMH
Im expecting the "Ice is Cold" revelation next
