Description
Frost and Frederic are very different players in terms of style, but very similar besides that. Similar draft capital, age, and career path so far with the last year being a borderline breakout season. And now both want more money from their respective teams than they're willing to hand out. Frederic was a C originally, would command a little less money, and can play all over the lineup if need be, hence the sweeteners headed to Philly.

Gryz to Anaheim makes sense to me, but I don't love this package. Any better ideas from either perspective?

Flyers decline, frost has higher upside imo

I don't disagree. Sub Cates in for York and remove the 3rd from Boston, deal?

Philly declines. Frost is easily the better player and a mid prospect, and a mid round pick isn't enough to even the value

We're not interested in paying much of anything for a pending UFA, and Gryz isn't the guy we need.

Wed give you Vaaks for Forbort straight up, but that's about it.

Grzelcyk to the Ducks makes sense since they could use a defenseman like him, same time though I'm doubtful they'd be willing to give you a better or crazy return for what's likely a cap dump in your case

Feel like you might need to sweeten the trade a bit more for Frost but can honestly see Boston going after both of these

It’s actually scary to me that you thought about that flyers trade, actually made that Flyers trade, and posted it thinking it was a good trade lol

Yeah Frost a 2C, maybe a 3C at worst, is definitely worth the same as a 4th liner, a mid prospect, and a 3rd. Lol I mean good lord that’s bad
