    Why would the devils trade for Miller this offseason and then trade him away only to sign a toxic player like Deangelo? lol

    Lol ya. Miller was the sacrifice to free up the space for Saros. No real connection to the team either.

    Miller is going to be great in NJ. Had a very solid year in DAL

    If the Devils are trading for another goalie VV has to be the goalie be traded because of how much cap space the Devils have. Honestly I'd prefer if the Devils started the season with no goalie changes and see how well Schmid does.

    Why didn't you just send Vancek back to the Preds instead of Schmid?
    Would solve the cap issue right away instead of yeeting newly acquired Miller out of the team (to say nothing of the fact that Schmid is not on the table for a goalie deal).
    Or did you just need an excuse to meme TDA onto that 3rd pair?

    Way too much to be worth it for Saros even if that's what it would take and I'd rather get eliminated by the rags than watch Tony D play for us

    The Saros deal was initially first. Cap was slightly over and TD was a bargain replacement to make it work.

    I had the 1st, Holtz and Daws originally but I figure with this type of move, it would be all in.

    He did not, he was carried by Miro during the regular season and looked pedestrian as soon as he was separated. He was so bad during the playoffs her was benched for Joel Hanley, who vastly outplayed him.
