Santa comes early

Team: 2023-24 Seattle Kraken
Initial Creation Date: Jul. 23, 2023
Published: Jul. 23, 2023
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
This is a perfect world, and, as is common on Capfriendly ACGM, is completely unrealistic, but the following are all the assumptions:
-
Wright is a faceoff winning machine who immediately shows signs of being the next Bergeron, and even puts up a fight for Calder

Dunn shows that not only that last year wasn't a fluke, but that he is definitely worth the new deal

Beniers takes another huge leap and already starts receiving Selke votes

Burakovsky comes back from injury with a vengeance, goes over a point per game

Kartye proves the playoff performance wasn't a flash in a pan, second on the team in goals and breaks 30 first year

McCann drops over 45 goals and continues to make the decisions of keeping Holl/Kerfoot and Carter some of the worst in history

Grubauer keeps up the performance he had against Colorado in the first round, receives some Vezina votes

Driedger establishes himself as one of the best backup options in the league

Tolvanen looks like he may become a 40 goal scorer in the near future, drops high 30 goals on the season

Nobody sees regression, prospects all immediately look like steals

If any of these happen, you should probably buy a lotto ticket, but I think some of these are attainable in the next few years, and if they did them now it'd be incredibly early. This is almost like a Wishlist of sorts to what I want to see next season, but in the same way I know Santa won't bring me a girlfriend, I'm not expecting the Kraken to bring me a season with all of this.

Again, I'd like to remind everyone coming down here that I aimed to be unrealistic, but yeah, be as critical as you'd like I don't care as if anyone cares enough to comment on this

Don’t really hit the jets interest, need the rhd dman prospect more than the winger, little more keen for a dman development or a Center to push the other options over the veteran winger.

Beniers take yes.
Wright take, not this year but not hopeless
Dunn take, got to be honest when I saw that extension I went wtf, I think Dunn is good but I also think last year was the peak of what he is going to do not be what he consistently does.
Burakovsky take, never going to be a ppg guy but he is a guy that when he is on looks unstoppable the problem is that he is really bad defensively and makes some very questionable plays at times, but love the guy as a 2nd line scorer
McCann take, see Dunn take
Grubauer take, see Dunn take
Dreidger take, no opinion
Tolvanen take, he is good but no way is he 40 goal imo he is maybe a 30 goal guy with 50-60pt potential.
