Myers should have been bought out the moment we acquired him & we should have just gotten the cap credit the moment we got him now we are over the cap, sure AHL success but uhhhh when you have cup ambitions you shoot yourself in the foot for not opening up as many options as possible & obtaining cap space provides that. . . okay rant over send Myers into the shadow realm & drop the puck

If the had taken the credit on the cap last year they'd been hit with a bigger than the cost to bury him this year the big mistake was resigning him last year and not just allowing him to walk.

It's such a non-factor, 1 of Bogo or Fleury is going to be placed on waivers regardless. The only difference is that we can't sign/promote a 14th forward

I still think another team will take Myers. He's good enough to make the NHL just not in our budget. He's also a massive player who's decent at skating. Teams are always interested in that kind of stuff

Myers really isn’t that bad if you look at the analytics. Was amazing for Syracuse as well. Pointless to buy him out rn bc we’re not over the cap with Seabrook on ltir

Can't buy him out now anyway even if the 2nd window were still open. He doesn't make enough to buy out in the 2nd window.
