There their he says....

I think our players have value which is why I'm proposing a trade with this amount of value coming our way in return.

Nylander is worth way more than Pesce. Turbo is a middle 6 winger and Skjei is a 3rd pair defenceman who gets more love than he deserves. Nylander is a 40 goal scoring nearly 90 point player who still has more growing to do. That is immensely valuable. To say otherwise is ridiculous and quantity does not equal quality.bb

I'm letting you know as a fellow Leafs fan, you literally have no idea what you're talking about and you look dumb. Do some homework buddy!

You aren't a leaf fan, just one of those run of the mill trolls pretending to call other leaf fans dumb. It's completely transparent

Maybe read the additional details? Also, you need to get over your obsession with the 20 man roster thing. The Leafs entered last year with a 20 man roster that was much worse, it's called maximizing your roster for when it matters - the playoffs. This team is not going to be at risk of missing the playoffs because they chose to run a 20 man roster and there is no cap come playoff time.

Sorry, to expect to run a 20 man roster all season sure is impractical. Leafs were "fortunate" last season, that Muzzin went on LTIR in game nine. Do the Leafs want to play games of hoping a mid to high cap is injured long term in order to have a practical roster?

I'll be completely honest, this argument is a bit of a reach for me.
You really do not understand locker room issues?
It should have been obvious to every one, that once Reinhart, Ristolainen and Eichel (and Taylor Hall) were off of the team, the Sabre record improved 33% to 46%.
Neither Kane nor O'Reilly were in love with Buffalo and came with serious baggage while Lehner came with drug issues and blamed Buffalo management while Botterill checked on his progress even after Robin was no longer a Sabre.
Players do not perform in a vacuum, they want to be treated as fairly and equally as their team mates.
If one has an impression that a team mate is over paid, or that one deserve more it could disrupt the entire team.

Of course you need to take the right step but that step seems so obvious. You have Mario Lemieux Lite as your 1C, Dylan Cozens who is the type of center you win cups with as your 2C, two elite defensemen on the backend and incredible forward depth to fill out your roster elsewhere. With Scheifele apparently being available as well I'd even try to include him in that deal. You say you're a couple years away but that move immediately vaults you into top 2 in the Atlantic beside the Leafs IMO. Boston has taken a step back, Tampa has taken a step back. If your management has the stones to pull it off then you're a legitimate threat to win the cup. Hellebuyck is a top 3 goalie in the league...

I don’t think we are there yet
Still need a little more time for young talent to grow/develop imo

Muzzin started the season with the Leafs, his LTIR is irrelevant and not "lucky" at all lol. Anyway, happy for you that you're at least able to count, even if you have no useful feedback to provide beyond that, TTFN

I am a Leafs fan and I only call other Leafs fans dumb if they are clearly dumb. Unfortunately there are a lot of you out there who can't see a philosophical change is needed with this team. It doesn't matter either way because Treliving can see what needs to be done and the writing is on the wall.

Maybe. I just look at a team who was 3rd in GF/G and had a .896% from their goaltending and see their crease as a clear area to upgrade. Just my opinion as well.

That statement makes no sense here. You have a mind like a loose balloon buddy, stay on track. Good luck with your roster counting, you're doing a great service for "CapFriendly".

Thanks for recognizing my service. You do a great service to FANatics.....no regards to other teams or the rules of the league. Silly homerism at its worse.

I always wondered what your purpose here is. You haven't posted a roster since February and you just hang around to **** on other people's rosters while never having anything intelligent to say.

But now I've finally learned your purpose here; you're the site counter! Way to go little buddy, pat on the back!

You’re not wrong
Goaltending does need to be better

As much as i like Hellebuyck,
I just don’t think he fits our timeline all that well

Seems like our Mgmt is content to at least start the season with the trio of Levi/UPL/Comrie, and see how that goes
