Brodie and the first is beyond enough for ferraro as brodie is the bet te r dman alr then robertson a 3rd and grebenkin for duclair and a second is pretty fair yes maybe the leafs take back a 3rd instead but taht doesn’t make a huge difference

If you break it down like that into 2 trades it's decent, factoring in the age and contract for Ferraro Brodie + 1st is fine. But Duclair + a 2nd that can turn into a 1st for those 3 isn't something SJ would be interested in. But yes if you made it a 3rd going back then sure it's a lot better. Definitely one of the better well-thought out trades here where both sides benefit, as SJ would flip Brodie at 50% for extra assets.
