IMO that's a lot to give up for the Bruins....two expiring UFA......for four years of Carlo and more. Don't think some fans appreciate what a fine player Carlo is and great value at 4.1m

Backlund could fill a very specific role as our “shutdown” center, which would allow us to move Krebs into more of a 2way role & develop his offensive skills instead of having him focus (almost solely) on tough defensive matchups
