Sorry, but I can't understand both of your trades.

You gave more for Kane than you gave for Duchene. Even as a Pens fan, I'm sure you're far from the Duchene's true value with that trade. And I'm sure Kane doesn't deserves that much. I'm pretty sure that not just myself but every Pens fan would be angry if JR made a trade like that for a guy like Kane.

As for Niemi...I think Elliot deserves more than him a chance to a bounce back season, cause he's 15/16 season was huge.

Would need to add more for Duchene, and that's also way too much for Kane. RFAs are reasonable. Lastly Daley would cost nearly twice that for a 2 year deal.

The reason for giving more for Kane, is that the Avs/Duchene/his agent are all fed up with each other. So I'm going with the reports that the organization and Duchene are at ends. Plus his points were way down last year. You have to give to get. You can't trade all our bad players for all their good players.

Im just trying to defend my trades. You have to give to get. Look at what the Pens gave up for Reeves. Giving up Hagelins contract is worth the extra player too.

Ok. You made your point. But to me it's not enough cause there'll be many teams pursuing him. So that's the point to raise even more Duchene's value. The fact is Pens don't need to participate of the auction for him. We had the best offense last season and our D was just an average one. So to me we have to worry more about the D.

As for Kane...it's simple to me. He don't worths such value. He's a good player indeed. But I don't like his attitude and he's not a team player. So I don't think he would fit well in Pitt.

That's my opinion. I respect yours.
