If its a good deal then maybe, but even with Hanifin they still aren't going to win the cup so this trade is a little useless for an aging pit team who should have entered rebuild mode already. To many old people with terrible contracts to make a run. Pitt would have to shed cap in this deal too

Calgary would accept that. No retention and no cap coming back being the deciding factors. They get cap space and trade capital to help acquire the top 6 right shot winger they need.
