Ottawa will give you Joseph for a 4th round pick.

Or you can find a way to structure a trade for Joseph like the one involving McGinn and Kulikov.

It's up to you.

I don’t think the Sabres are gonna trade for a goalie at this point
But if they were gonna, this deal seems “in the ballpark” of reality

It would take more for us to eat Joseph’s contract than a 2nd let alone adding

I think the Sabres would ask for more retention on Gibson - they're not going to pay $4.4M for the next 4 years, especially when it's highly likely that Gibson would quickly go from a 1B insurance plan behind Levi in the upcoming season into a full-time backup the final 3 seasons thereafter (2 of which will overlap a likely extension in the $3M-5M range for Levi after his ELC expires).

Like my 1st sentence said,
I don’t think the Sabres are gonna trade for Gibson at all

I do think that’s roughly what they could get for Gibson though

Man IDK, 4.4 isn’t horrible, I wonder what his buyout after 2 years would be, if it went bad?

Easy pass from Ottawa

Not giving Halliday and a 2nd to upgrade Joseph to Tatar

$4.4M for a backup when Levi could be making $5M on his next contract in 2025-26 as the presumed starter is not ideal or smart.
