move holmberg down to the Marlies, clear 80ok . Use the 1.25 million to sign Jonathan Toews to center the 3rd line. everything else looks good.

Don't see why the Wild would take that deal, even if it's a deadline deal because they're out of the playoff race. Hartman would have to have a pretty bad season to not get a better return.

SEA declines. While Brodie would be an upgrade on the right side, he would be relegated likely to 3rd line minutes. Additionally, not particularly interested in giving up a 2nd for him especially when another deal would have to be made in order to stay under the cap. Just seems like too much work to add a guy who isn't going to make that much of an impact.

IDK why people don't understand that Kampf is the 3rd line center. Starting d-zone play, shutdown center, PK #1 unit. They didn't sign him at 2.4M to play 4th line. He has been a great add to the leafs. In 2 seasons taking most of the d-zone faceoffs and playing the shutdown center role, he is still a +18.

Easy pass from Seattle. Don't have the cap space and already too many D on the roster. Brodie is on the wrong side of 32.
