It's a moot point because this trade isn't happening (Goli kills it). Brodie should be top-4 with Spurgeon.

Maybe Tatar signs that low to play on a contender, but I think hes going to cost around 3.5-4mil.

I think brodin would be. Better pairing than Brodie…. Plus Minnesota already has him

Cap won't work anyhow. They can't trade 3 players with roughly $6m in cap and bring back 1 player with $5m cap if they hope to fill out their roster. At best, they'd probably end up with a 20 man roster with this trade and they really don't have any more moves to make nor would Brodie be a guy worth dissecting your roster to bring in.

Edit: And if we pretend Goligoski waives his NMC to go to Toronto, he's definitely not waiving it to play for the Marlies so OP can't bury him in the minors.
