Description

Team full of excellent defensive-focused players. Not a lot of points, but great at taking the puck and keeping it away from their net.

I know this is going to cause a lot of controversy so I tried to combine some safe bets (Stone, Barkov, Marner, Slavin, Makar, Giroux, Shesterkin) with some hot takes (Joseph, McLeod?, Ryan, 3rd D pairing).

Was torn between Nick Paul and Chandler Stephenson. Ended up with Paul since he was also relatively solid with OTT and TBL is a bit of a worse team than VGK.

I realize Joseph is probably going to lead to a lot of questions so here is my thought process on him and McLeod.

Joseph: Average of about 14min a night, +5 on a relatively porous defensively team. Penalty killer. Low point total and +/- not inflated by high scoring linemates.

McLeod: Average of about 12min a night. 60.6% faceoff win percentage with 968 faceoffs taken. Stats (+/-) may be a bit inflated from a good team, but with Joseph and Ryan I'm okay with that risk.
