Don’t think the gap between bjorkstrand and nylander is a first, second, and second third considering the contract situation and defensive capabilities. If the players switched roles there wouldn’t be as big of a point production gap either

Would Bjork and 2 2nds be more accurate?

I would assume if we are sellers, then we would also probably be on Klingberg's no trade list as well. I feel like he got a NTC just to avoid this scenario.

This is just so disrespectful to Nylander's ability. Nylander doesn't get points because he's on the leafs. He gets points because he's an offensive force. Bjorkstrand might see an increase if he played in the top 6 but at the expense of Nylander, JT and whoever he plays with will see a major drop off because its Willy who drives the play. The difference between him and an older 40-60 point winger is a great deal more than a mid to late 1st, a 2nd and a 3rd.

No! Nylander is worth so so so much more. You don't take out an elite play driver for a passenger. Never

Also, that Columbus trade is absolutely horrific. Klingberg alone is loads better and more valuable than Peeke. Peeke may not get much playing time in Columbus, a team who's not remotely as good as TO. How is he worth even a 1st? Let alone a better defenceman as well.

Being a leaf fan has nothing to do with it. Peeke is not in anyway worth a 1st. The guy is the odd man out in Columbus, he's not a top 4 defenceman and may not even be a 3rd pair this year. He's so so so overrated on this site.

Or resign him, it's weird how that is just impossible. This is what you guys said when he was coming off his ELC and they signed him. You guys said the same when Matthews and Marner needed new deals. And again with Rielly. How many times do you have to be wrong before you give up?

Show me a top team that isn't up against the cap. They aren't really in cap hell. Loads of space next year. Even more the year after and no bad contracts on the books. That's not cap hell, that's spending money wisely as a contender.
