Description
What are your guys thoughts? This team needs to make a major move or else were done imo. With our roster as is without Guentzel starting were going to be out of the playoffs by December. No depth in terms of goal scoring. Need Karlsson plus even more forward help which is hard to do. This has always been a big concern, if one player gets hurt in the top 6 were done because that's the only part of the lineup with scoring.

Sharks decline. Better off keeping 100+ point, 3 time Norris trophy winning EK65.

Yzerman loves Chiarot. Don't know why. His size and physicality I suppose. I'd be surprised if he traded him for Petry.

Chiarot is an Ontario boy. Don't know if he'd waive his NTC for SJ.

He might not even miss 10 games. It's a projected 12 week recovery.

Not necessarily. Said it will be evaluated in 12 weeks, not 12 week recovery. And we need a good start to the season given how old our team is and how they've burnt out past few years.

we should try to revive Johnsson and toss him in the top 6. Crosby could get him back to his NHL form. Tatar I wouldn’t be opposed to for some middle 6 scoring. I’m against getting Karlsson though.

1.5 for Tatar is a joke. I don’t want Karlsson cus we saw how the Burns/Karlsson show went. Letang and Karlsson can’t both play 1st pair minutes and how will it go over telling one of them they’re off PP1. It’s not gonna go well. Would rather spend the assets on trying to get some scoring depth for this team than for an overpaid d man who doesn’t play defense and had his first good year since 17-18

You saw how the Karlsson/Burns show went? You mean when Karl had 45 points in 53 games and Burns had 83 points? And then went to the conference finals and lost because the entire team was injured. Karlsson returned to form because he was healthy and because he wasn't bogged down by Boughner's system.

And considering Letang literally said he wants EK65, I think he's ok with not getting his PP minutes.
