All we heard last year was we'd have no playoff experience. He was big in the Rangers series. I didn't love it to start, but he may be what they need in the locker room. The cap is good enough we buy him out in two years, no problem.

I know these are the dog days of summer, but this makes very little sense to block Holtz.

Injury hurt too. Missed over 30 games early when he should have building chemistry with his new teammates. I didn't like the term, maybe one year too long & one mil too much, but I still like the player. It made sense then & still makes sense now. As you say, was huge in playoffs, maybe top performance in game 7 vs Rags ... contract comes off just in time to resign Nico & there is likely a league wide cap raise of $4 mil on the horizon. They will be ok.
