Montreal gets Grushnikov. He's a good prospect top 4 caliber. Petry is 35. Doesn't he want to be on a team who can win? I think this whole "can't be too far from Michigan" is overblown.

Grush is a quality piece. I wouldn’t do it from the Dallas side tbh. I’m not saying Petry retained doesn’t have value, just that I would prefer we kept our d prospects unless getting a substantial upgrade. Grush (and White) is/are the type of player(s) cup winning teams have on their third pair. Vegas had better legs and d depth than we did. I’m not convinced Petry solves the issue
