Additional Details:

Teravainen on the 4th line seems like a waste and I’m sure he feels the same way. Trotz has made some aggressive moves and he could use some top-6 talent. Seems a good fit for all parties. Not entirely sure on the return here, Teravainen’s value is a bit uncertain to me at the moment with injuries and everything.

I feel like Chatfield is good enough to see regular play-time instead of rotating with DeAngelo, so I considered moving Skjei to make room for him, but CAR would have the cap space to just keep him. I decide to just move Chatfield instead. Blues could use him as a 3RD.

There's a world where moving Chatfield makes sense. But the Canes issue is apparently scoring... why would they move Teuvo for less than his value (1st)?

I doubt Turbo’s play will be 4th line esque this season.

Think trading Chatfield makes no sense. For his cost, age and skating ability they should definitely trade Pesce/Turbo for the best forward option they can get. Or trade them for assets they can use to get that player. I love Pesce, I do. I just think his next contract is a mistake for the canes the way they like to play. His biggest issue is skating, thats not going to improve. He has also had 2 shoulder surgeries. I also believe Chatfield would be just fine playing in the second pair.
