I am sure this should generate a good debate.

it's actually real close between the two as far as I'm concerned. don't think i could pick one over the other at this point in time even with a gun to my head.

Good question. Both great players, but I think more people would want Bergeron on their team. Better complete player.

Geno has the 5th best single postseason performance, only surpassed by Wayne (more than once!), Mario, and Coffey. He has 180 points in 177 playoff games. He’s a Conn Smythe winner. His ppg average for his career is 1.156 which is 18th all time. Only McDavid, Sid, and Draisaitl among active players can surpass that. In the much newer points per 60mins Geno is an astounding 6th with 3.513 pp60.

NHL Network did just that. It’s what got me thinking about this because I was hoping Flower would still be 1st although 2nd is still pretty darn good.

Frankly, they aren't really comparable, if I wanted someone who I knew I could rely on to get points it'd be Malkin but if I wanted someone who I could count on in all situations it'd be Bergy

It’s closer then Kane vs Malkin, I’ll say that (Kane is better by the way)

I’m open to a Kane/Malkin debate. At least it’s not the ridiculous Toews debate.
