Change the '24 3rd to a '26 1st and the Hawks probably at least consider it. Jets can keep Wagner as well.

Fair enough. Hawks probably aren't trading Murphy for less than a 1st. A 3rd and a mid level prospect isn't moving Schmidt's $5.9m cap hit, even for one year.

So hypothetically if the jets bought out schmidt and made the trade it would be more reasonable.
