Canes pass. Don't have the RD depth and Beauvillier is what... a 4th liner in Carolina? There's no incentive

He wouldn't be a 4th liner in Carolina Mr. Arrogance

I can get behind the idea of adding another center and pushing Miller to the wing.

Sure, maybe later on when Miller doesn't drive play quite as efficiently as he does right now, but even right now, I'd definitely try to go younger than Backlund

I agree Backlund isn't the ideal target but the concept is sound.

I think the biggest risk/reward move the Canucks could reasonably do is trading a winger (Beauvillier or Garland) in a deal for Kuznetsov. That would be betting on talent at a discounted price, but with more risk.

Svechnikov, Jarvis, Necas, Terravainen, Bunting and Fast are all better. Yes, Beauvillier would be a fourth liner in Carolina

Yeah, hard to say whether the Caps pull the trigger on that. Although Miller and Kuznetsov as the 2 and 3C's definitely isn't enough defensive IQ for the salary committed

Fast is not better. Bunting might not be better either

Fast got 11 less point but is better defensively. I take him all day

Or you could play them both in the top-6.
