In any case I don't see Montreal being overly interested as they already have Allen and Montembault on the roster.

Montreal easily passes this is like offering Gallagher for Draisaitl (in terms of ridiculousness and unwanted/unneeded peices as compensation) Montreal has absolutely no need for a 26 year old LD that would be ECHL bound and swapping a higher paid worse goalie on a longer term contract for a 2nd makes no sense

Are you really offering a frange NHL player and a 2nd round pick to take over 20M over 4 years in cap space?

How about we ship you Gallagher with COL 2nd and Pezzetta for Foegele?
