The reason that CBJ trade seems ridiculous is twofold:
A. It is.
B. We haven’t seen a trade involving a player like Bedard in a really, really long time, so that trade is really hard to predict.

It's risky because that's an insane haul to give up for a prospect. But, it could pay off so absurdly well

Is it significantly > though? As in, enough to account for the jersey sales Bedard's already brought, season ticket memberships, and overall bringing hockey back to CHI?

no 1 player (Bedard might equal McDavid might) is worth giving up 3 top 6 F + 20yo #12OA + a (prolly) high 1st - 5 quality players > 1 superstar (potential)
AZ trade dont get unless you really think Kerfoot is magically at 29yo going to be more than 3rd liner
